Naturally occurring in olive oil, BENEV Pure Squalane moisturizer decreases dryness and smoothes away scaly skin. Squalane is an unsaturated oil having the molecular structure similar to that of Vitamin A. Initially used successfully to treat tuberculosis, research later supported that Squalane is found to be a remarkable immunopotentiating (enhancing the immune system) agent, stimulating cell mediated cytotoxicity and suppression of tumor growth. Studies have also revealed that squalane has a stimulatory effect on the healing process, supposedly due to its oxidizing effect.
