I purchased four mini choppers from scooterselection.com in December of 2004 for Christmas presents. All 4 arrived 2 days after Christmas and the company guaranteed delivery by Christmas.
When the boxes were opened all four scooters were severely damaged. Crushed gas tanks, broken mirrors split gas tank caps, scratched fenders and more. 2 of them were the wrong color.
I immediately started calling customer service and stayed on hold forever. Never could talk to a person that day. I continued calling until I got someone (many hours on hold) I am not exaggerating. They said that I could not have ordered two black ones because they didn't carry them in black. She said they would send the parts immediately. They did send a few and guess what? One of the fenders that they sent for the chrome colored bikes was Black. I went back to the website to review the colors I had ordered and on the website it showed th black ones available.
I have now spent an entire year contacting this company by phone and e-mail and haven't gotten even one of the scooters fixed yet. They have even told me that I am not in their system anymore and that they don't show me as ever being a customer.
Guess what? I just received my login and password from scooterselection.com a few minutes ago from where I purchased them over a year ago now. Wonder how my info was still in the system.
I spent over 1,400.00 with this company for Christmas gifts over a year ago and the people I bought them for have not been able nto use them yet.
Save your money. Don't buy from these people, I was severely ripped off not to mention the embarrassment. Check out the other reports at www.badbusinessbureau.com before you buy from these thieves. |
