whats the max speed that this scooter can travel? Also how much horse power does this scooter have?

Hi this is a full 47cc two stroke scooter, but I don't know the horsepower. Typically your two stroke scooters are quoted in CC's as opposed to horse power like the 4 strokes are. This scooter is off the market for a while until Extreme brings it back. Harvey

I have a three part question....how often will this scooter break down?.What type of Gas and Oil does it need?. Please tell me the mixture that i will need to to make the scooter run. Does it come with an owners manual?

Hi, while the XG499 is not in the same league with a much more expensive Goped or Evo scooter, we have had good luck with them. They have proven to be more dependable than the razorbacks which were in the same price range. The early weaknesses in the pull starter seem to have been resolved, and there is little on them that suffers shipping damage. If you would like to see the assembly manual, email me at sales at neoscooters.com and I will send one to you. This scooter is a two stroke model, and does require a gas/oil mix to operate. If you want a bit more robust scooter that folds, and imitates the Puzey Bladez design, then I would recommend the XG-505. This scooter comes with electric start, disc brakes front and back, and folds easily. A little more expensive, but a heavier scooter overall.
